As a tour guide, Tanea has the opportunity to engage and connect with a diversity of cultures globally and locally. To share the history of Whanganui a Tara and values of Te Ao Māori through whakawhanaungatanga, manaakitanga, wairuatanga and kotahitanga is very rewarding.

Interests outside of job!
Tanea’s passion is music and philosophy. Working as a musician for over 35 years, Tanea comes from a family of musicians, and through the years become a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. Music being a universal language is a powerful tool, in which used, and delivered with aroha creates loving and memorable moments for all peoples.
